hola y konnichiwa! well, i'm off to japan for two weeks! hooRAY!! *jump* my host family consists of one (1) grandmother, one (1) father, one (1) mother, one (1) male offspring of the mother and father [25], and two (2) female offspring of the mother and father [24, 17]. fantastico! er... um... uh... omedeto! shirimasen... sooooo the older kids might not be there. it'll probably be just me and izumi (that's her name) and the parents, of course. oooohhh gosh. i'm excited. i'll have many stories and pictures when i return! yay 14 hour plane ride! yoi ichinichi wo! *wave wave*

So this weekend im going to port aransas for ecology class! woo! im way excited cuz this group has all the awesome people in it. not too excited about getting cut on rocks and data collecting and such, but oh well! we get to stay in some nice condos and cook our own meals and go grocery shopping and party! sounds fun, huh? oh, and lets not forget the 8 hour bus ride there and back and getting up at 4 in the morning to be at nolan at 5:50. and the massive amounts of homework i have! this is like the worst weekend ever for this trip. i would still be complaining about this load of homework even if i wasnt going out of town for 3 days! ugh. and what am i doing? writing this journal instead of working. oops. guess ill get started on those essays and projects and various precal assignments now... i only have 7 more hours to do it all! plus packing! ahh! *rush*

so today i get to head off to A&M and see my good friend bridget! aww. then after that i get to go to my long-awaited concert!! there i get to see my other good friends, MCR! and some other bands too, but MCR is my main attraction. no mikey tho... it will be sad... but apparently theyre performing stuff from their older albums!! woo!! ive always wanted to see me some good old fashioned angry MCR. (lets see how many times i can say MCR in here. hehe...) so yes! very excited! im ready for a nice long car ride listening to more MCR on the way there! oh, and some icky new linkin park and such too. umm... yes. so there u have it. i need a nice good distraction like this. and let me tell u, MCR can be quite distracting. so yay!! *runs off to get all my homemade MCR stuffs* (hmmm... only said MCR 9 times... i was going for at least 14... oh well.)

so ive got me a japanese kid! not for keeps tho. i wish. shes way cute. shes off museuming it up right now so im bored. shes like my exact opposite and we dont have much in common at all... but i love her! just the fact that shes asian makes her a million times cooler. she cant speak much english, but thats okay! its fun and exciting to try to talk to her! she bought me chop sticks and random snacks and a neat hangy thing. and some other stuff i havent quite figured out yet... we went shopping yesterday and i think she was way bored with me so i invited emily and that livened things up a lot. they bought make-up and lotiony stuff and some clothes. i bought us some ice cream. mmmmm.
so ive got all sorts of crazy fun things planned! she seems a bit warry about laser tag and such things that sound potentially dangers. like my puppies. shes scared of them. awww. but she wants to go to six flags sunday. i will be bored. but oh well! least she'll have fun.
